The CIA has been compromised by the treachery of one its best and brightest operatives. Joe Rickman, now dead, had previously created and executed a plan to progressively release sensitive information about CIA sources and methods. This breach of information stands to compromise the U.S. intelligence service for a generation.
Meanwhile in Pakistan, a coup is developing with the prize in sight being the leader of that country and the controller of its nuclear arsenal. The United States has an interest in regaining control of the release of information. The Pakistani intelligence service sees this as an opportunity to undermine the U.S. influence globally and set itself up as a primary power in the Middle East.
The race is on for Mitch Rapp, Irene Kennedy, and their team. Can they find the person who is releasing Rickman's information and stop the damage to U.S. intelligence?
This is another great book in the Mitch Rapp Series. It is the first book written by Kyle Mills, continuing on the series originated by the late Vince Flynn. Kyle does a great job filling the shoes of his predecessor and continuing on the lives (albeit fictional) of the characters that readers of the Mitch Rapp series have come to love. If you are interested in a bit of nail biting, fast paced spy, action reading, this series won't disappoint - even under new authorship.
