Book #14: Rescue at Los Baños: The Most Daring Prison Camp Raid of World War II, Bruce Henderson
After the invasion by the Japanese, civilians in the Philippines found themselves prisoners of war. This is the story of the 2000 people who were interned at Los Baños at the rescue by paratroopers as ordered by Douglas MacArthur. This book is of personal interest as my wife’s grandma Gene was one of the internees at Los Baños.
