Book #6: George Washington’s Secret Six: The Spy Ring that Saved the American Revolution, Brian Kilmeade & Don Yaeger
Having suffered a significant and humiliating loss in New York to the British Army, General Washington found himself looking for ways to recapture the prize of the middle colonies. But what he was lacking was intelligence of the British plans and intentions. This book tells the story of a clandestine group of patriots who risked all for the sake of the fledgling United States. It is a great example that wars are won not only by boots on the ground but through the the intelligence provided by men and women who hide in plain sight. It is a fascinating read.
