Book #19: Ender’s Game, Orsen Scott Card
Recovering from the last of the Bugger Wars, the International Forces are in search of new commander when they set their sights on Ender Wiggin. This is the story of the selection and training of Ender and next of the Bugger Wars. I generally prefer non-fiction, but this story came highly recommended because of it’s discussion about the qualities of a good leader. In this regard it did not disappoint. I found that the story also explores the idea of what the government owns, it can regulate – a much needed reminder as our country has to perpetually decide between government intervention and personal liberties. As a person who prefers non-fiction, this is a definite recommendation.
