This book is an autobiography by Ted Cruz documenting his family’s history of immigration to America, his childhood, education and career leading to his current seat as U.S. Senator. Ted Cruz is a man and politician dedicated to the principles of limited government conservatism and throughout his career has been a strong advocate of constitutional jurisprudence. This book is definitely seems to be written as an “About Me” book in preparation for the Cruz presidential campaign. However it is also written as a modern day version of William Simon’s book of the same title making an argument for liberty and conservative policies.
