Point-of-Care Ultrasound

What is POCUS?

POCUS is the use of ultrasound by bedside clinicians to gain a deeper understanding in the physiology and pathology of the patient.

Why POCUS?

POCUS combines the power of imaging with the specific focus provided by a history and exam to focus the ultrasound study to the patient's specific complaint.
