Reading is the gateway to knowledge and learning.  Great books can open our eyes to new ideas and other worlds.  Reading deepens our knowledge, broadens our perspectives, and sharpens our ability to engage with the world around us.  But it is not enough to just read books.  To be excellent, you need to read great books.
